The Modelling Services team is part of the Finance Transformation & Reporting department. The team is responsible for the development and the maintenance of the actuarial cash flow models. The models cover the whole liability book (100+ bn EUR) of NN Life & Pensions. As Cash Flow Model Developer, you will contribute at understanding the modelling requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and implementing them in a working product. We want to deliver the best solutions to the financial reporting teams, who are our internal customers: automation, transparency and performance are some of the essential ingredients for them to execute their critical processes on time and in control.
What are you going to do?
You will operate in a scrum team where you will take the role of model developer. The team has a product owner, other model developers and functional acceptance testers. Strong cooperation within the team, ability to listen to the customers, and can-do mentality will make you successful in this role.

What you bring
As Cash Flow Model Developer you have a diverse set of skills:
- Strong quantitative or actuarial background from your university studies and/or previous work experience. Knowledge of Dutch pension products is a strong advantage
- You are hands-on and like to program in languages such as C++, SQL and R, and you are willing to learn new programming languages. Specific experience in Risk Agility Financial Modeler is a definite plus
- You can deliver changes: you can listen to our customers and translate their requirements into working solutions
- You have great communication skills and are fluent in English, our business language

The Modelling Services team has 10 individuals with actuarial and quantitative background: we combine a knowledge of the insurance products, the actuarial models, the regulatory frameworks (Solvency II, IFRS 17) and can deliver fully automated and controlled solutions for our internal customers. A mixture of different nationalities and seniorities makes sure that everybody can feel at home and perform at his or her best.
