Programme Manager Application Portfolio Rationalization

Wat je gaat doen

• Set up programme governance, set up overall programme plan and planning, set and control deadlines, budgets and activities, including reporting to executive management
• Provide oversight and coordinate cross-project activities
• Remove impediments to country execution
• Manage the complex environment of (C-level) stakeholders
• Manage escalations and dependencies with other initiatives and programs
• Manage overall program budget and associated budget allocations  to the countries
• Monitor both the overall business case and business cases of the individual countries
• Manage budget requests/  changes in the program
• Provide key inputs to the value office
• Act as a role model within NN International

We offer this job fully remote as a virtual assignment for 1 to 3 years. As part of this role, you will have an employment contract under the local collective labour agreement (CLA) from one of the 11 countries where NN operates. This means you can apply for the job if you reside in one of the countries where NN is located (Netherlands, Belgium, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Japan). Wat je meebrengt

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology, Information Management
• Minimum 10 years of experience in project/program management with a proven track record in a leadership role
• Proven experience as a Program Manager or in a similar managerial position
• Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methodologies incl. financial oversight and business case realization
• Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrated ability to have an oversight role in large-scale initiatives and engage stakeholders

Met wie je werkt

You will join the workstream the IT / Tech Simplification and Optimization workstream, which is dedicated to streamlining our technology processes and optimizing our sourcing strategies. This workstream is focused on rolling out the Oxygen platform, facilitating improved speed of delivery and level of innovation, simplifying, and rationalizing our current application landscape, and identifying opportunities for optimization. Whilst the execution of the rationalization initiatives is within the countries, the programme owner is responsible to realize the overall program strategy of this workstream. You will:

• Work with diverse teams within NN International, all business units in International
• Partner with CIOs and key business stakeholders in Insurance International
• Product owners and technology experts within NN Insurance International and NN Group
• External partners and collaborators
• Engage in internal intensive stakeholder management for alignment

This job is a virtual assignment which means you will fully work from home. You will travel regularly to meet your team. This means that the willingness to travel is important for this job position.
